Miranda Sings

Het begon voor Colleen Ballinger (alias Miranda Sings) in 2009 als een inside joke met video’s op YouTube waarin karakter en buitenbeentje Miranda Sings de spot drijft met de volgens haar ongetalenteerde mensen die van niets een YouTube carrière proberen te maken. Onverwacht gingen de video’s viral en negen jaar later heeft de comédienne groots internationaal succes. In haar populaire video’s maakt Miranda Sings met een overload aan sarcasme, rode lipstick en hyperactieve gezichtsuitdrukkingen, parodieën op popnummers. Ze laat op humoristische wijze haar zang en dans "skills” zien en geeft ze haar ongezouten mening over haar haters, actuele thema’s  en evenementen, voorzien van typische quotes als 'I’m not kidding!’. 

It all started for Colleen Ballinger (aka Miranda Sings) in 2009, as an inside joke with her uploading videos to YouTube as the misfit character Miranda Sings, who mocks the, in her opinion, untalented people that do not try hard enough to get a successful YouTube career.  Unexpectedly, her videos went viral and nine years later, she has big international successes. In her popular videos, Miranda Sings makes parodies to pop songs with an overload of sarcasm, red lipstick and hyperactive facial expressions. In a very funny manner, she shows her singing and dancing "skills" and gives her honest opinion on haters, actualities and events, with typical quotes such as 'I'm not kidding!'.
