Vir Das

Vir Das staat garant voor een avond die het midden houdt tussen theater en comedy, maar hij levert altijd snelle, edgy en intelligente humor. Met zijn tours (o.a. 'The History of India' en 'Battle of Das Sexes’) verkocht hij ruim een half miljoen tickets. Hij heeft twee weken in het prestigieuze Soho Theatre in Londen gestaan en stond op diverse comedyfestivals waaronder Montreal Just For Laughs en Edinburg Fringe. Naast comedy is Das ook bekend als acteur in diverse Bollywood films als 'Badmaash Company’ , 'Delhi Belly’ en 'Revolver Rani’.  The Hollywood Reporter omschrijft Vir Das als volgt: "Das exhibits a deft comic timing and a winning vulnerability… A sparkling comic performance.”  Het maakt eigenlijk niet uit of Vir Das met een gitaar op het podium zit of op een filmset achter de camera staat: hij is geboren om een internationaal comedyfenomeen te worden.

Vir Das guarantees an evening in between theater and comedy, but always delivering quick, edgy and intelligent humor. In addition to comedy, Das is known for his acting role in multiple Bollywood films such as 'Badmaash Company’, 'Delhi Belly’ and 'Revolver Rani’.
