Bill Bailey: En Route to Normal
De Britse comedylegende Bill Bailey behoort al jaren tot de wereldtop. De Engelsman begon zijn carrière in 1984 en werd al snel bekend door zijn vertolking van anekdotes en vreemde liedjes. De verwarde hippie, zoals Bill zichzelf noemt, is vooral bekend van televisieprogramma’s Never Mind the Buzzcocks, QI en Black Books. Ook is hij altijd een graag geziene gast in de Graham Norton Show geweest. Met zijn unieke comedyshows belandde hij in de lijst van 50 leukste acts in de Britse comedy en in 2007 stond hij op nummer 7 in de lijst van de honderd beste stand-upcomedians aller tijden.
Weinig comedians zijn zó divers als Bill: Hij speelt net zo makkelijk in de Royal Albert Hall als op de mainstage van metalfestival Sonisphere. Zijn show in de London Wembley Arena behoort zeker tot één van zijn hoogtepunten.

The British legend Bill Bailey has been one of the top comedians for years. Bailey started his career in 1984 and is gaining fame quickly by his performance of anecdotes and strange songs. The confused hippie, as he calls himself, is especially known for his work for television programmes such as 'Never Mind the Buzzcocks’, 'QI’ and 'Black Books’. He is also a welcome guest at the Graham Norton Show. With his unique comedy shows, he ended up in the list of ’50 best acts in British comedy’ and in 2007 he was number 7 on the list '100 best stand-upcomedians of all time’.
Not that many comedians are as diverse as Bill is: He performs just as easily in the Royal Albert Hall as on the mainstage of metal festival Sonisphere. His show in the London Wembley Arena is surely one of the highlights of his career.
