De Amerikaanse comedian Pablo Francisco maakte zo'n 10 jaar geleden zijn opmars met zijn scherpe observaties, hilarische grappen en meesterlijk imitaties.  Zodra hij zijn eerste stappen op het podium zet worden je lach- en buikspieren tot het uiterste gedreven. De lijst van imitaties is eindeloos, maar bijna iedereen kent het fragment waarin hij een nieuwe film met Arnold Schwarzenegger als tortillaverkoper presenteert (Little Tortilla Boy). Maar ook andere beroemdheden als Jackie Chan, Keanu Reeves, Al Pacino en zelfs Kermit de Kikker moeten het regelmatig ontgelden op het podium. Volle zalen, 50.000 tickets in Europa, miljoenen views op social media: alle populariteit viel wat rauw op zijn dak en dus besloot Pablo Francisco dat het tijd was voor een sabbatical. Anno 2017 is hij echter terug van weggeweest en speelt hij alle grote zalen weer plat.
